Upon the success of the launch of the first online web application in a community agency in Ontario (Halton Multicultural Council, Oakville), We are now in the process of piloting this application with several agencies across the Province. Based on our research and studies it seems that every agency is required to undergo an assessment phase and the application was required to be re-developed partially to accommodate the changes in programs, organization and services provided as directed by the funders.
After 2 years of analysis and development, We have developed a new Web Application called “ELIS Media Suite”, which is currently operational after undergoing 6 months of final test phase. This new all in one Suite is architected over 4 distinct components and has the ability to create agencies and individual databases on the fly, as well as distinct programs and services offered by them.
This flexibility superbly prevents currently required time in the assessment phase necessary prior to installing the application in multiple agencies. Furthermore, the databases architecture is designed to distinguish two set of data, internal to the agency and populated from the funders.
The 4 components furnish all agencies with comprehensive flexibilities in addressing all related requirements in one unique Web Suite and Platform.
